Kidcare Pediatrics Policies

Appointments:

  • We kindly ask that you contact our office at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your child’s appointment.

  • Our office hours are: Mon-Thurs 8:45AM - 5:00PM | Fri. 8:45AM - 12:00PM | CLOSED SAT & SUN

  • Please arrive on time. Patients arriving more than 15 minutes late may be asked to reschedule to ensure fairness for other scheduled families.

Payments:

  • We collect all co-pays, deductibles and co-insurance at the time of service according to the benefit quote that our office obtains from your insurance company.

After-Hours Calls:

  • For after-hours nurse triage services, a $15 processing fee applies for urgent matters.
    For medication refills, please have your pharmacy send a refill request directly to our office. If you need to call us directly, please allow 24–48 hours for processing.

Holiday and Weather Closures:

  • Our office is closed on all major holidays. In case of urgent needs, please visit your nearest Children’s Urgent Care or Emergency Department.

  • For inclement weather, updates will be posted on our website. We encourage you to follow local news alerts and utilize urgent care facilities if necessary.

Things To Know When Visting:

It is our goal to make your visit with us as smooth, efficient, and enjoyable as possible. Please help us by familiarising yourself with our office policies, detailed below, and following our simple courtesy rules:

  • No Smoking

  • No food or drinks in the exam rooms except breast milk/ formula for infants

  • Take dirty diapers to the outside trash bins

  • Use cell phones in common areas respectfully.

  • DO NOT use cellphones during your child's exam.

  • DO NOT take pictures or video during your child's visit to respect the privacy of our staff and other patients.
